Addept Insurance delivers 360° motorist legal protection solutions with latest addition to its portfolio

Legal costs cover for personal injury, uninsured losses, motor prosecution defence, contract disputes and vehicle cloning claims.

1 December 2025 - Addept Insurance Services (Addept Insurance) has today launched “Drive”, a legal recovery insurance for motorists, expanding its motor-related solutions and offering brokers a complete 360° legal protection and uninsured losses solution for their motor customers.

‘Drive’ provides legal costs cover for personal injury, uninsured losses, motor prosecution defence, contract disputes and vehicle cloning claims. Its addition to the portfolio alongside Recovery First, a policy providing practical and financial help including cover for rehabilitation costs and lost income to people injured in a road traffic accident where there is no one to claim against, means Addept Insurance can provide brokers with legal protection options for fault and non-fault claims.

“Drive” has been developed to offer brokers an alternative procurement option for

their motor legal protection product requirements. By enabling brokers to access the cover directly from a legal protection provider and manage the procurement process of the different elements of the non-fault claim service themselves, they can leverage commercial and customer service benefits.

Addept Insurance has secured its first motor legal protection scheme with Forces Solutions, a specialist broker dedicated to providing products for HM Forces. The firm has developed a bespoke solution that includes legal assistance following a non-fault motor incident in the UK or while personnel are based overseas on a NATO posting.

‘Drive’ is a legal recovery insurance for motorists. It provides cover up to £100,000 for legal costs for:

• Pursuing personal injury claims arising from a road traffic accident.

• Pursuing uninsured loss recovery damages claims for insurance policy excess or other out of pocked expenses.

• Motor Prosecution Defence – defending a legal action relating to a motoring offence.

• Pursuing or defending a legal action relating to a dispute over a contract for the sale or purchase of goods or services relating to a motor vehicle.

• To defend a legal action arising from vehicle cloning where a vehicle’s identity is used without permission.

Policyholders have access to a digital claims submission via a dedicated online portal and 24/7 Legal, Health and Medical Information and Lifestyle Counselling helpline services.
