Addept Insurance continues expansion with commercial legal protection launch

Enterprise Legal Club, dedicated commercial legal protection, advice and support for micro, small and medium sized businesses

10 December 2025 - Addept Insurance Services (Addept Insurance) has today announced the addition of a commercial legal protection insurance solution to its expanding portfolio of legal expenses (LEI) solutions, together with a series of new distribution partnerships supporting small business customers.

Enterprise Legal Club provides micro and small and medium sized businesses with access to legal protection insurance and specialist commercial and employment law assistance. The solution has been developed to offer business owners and employers cover and support on a wide range of business and commercial matters and help to navigate and mitigate the impacts of current and new employment rights and employee responsibilities.

Alongside the legal protection insurance product and employment legal service, business owners have access to an extensive Legal Assistance Hub providing interactive legal documents and resources, guidance, and information on a broad range of legal matters and access to specialist commercial legal advice provided by Lyons Davidson Solicitors.

Speaking on the launch of Enterprise Legal Club, Richard Finan, managing director of Addept Insurance, said: “The new Employment Rights Bill will bring in significant changes to employment law that will provide greater protection for workers that will impact all sizes of business. But smaller employers may be more exposed to higher compliance and operating costs as a result.

Addept Insurance has already gone live with new commercial legal protection schemes for managing general agent ACIES, providing the legal protection insurance component for their new product aimed at recruitment agencies, Modus, providing legal protection cover for their tradespeople and professionals scheme, and Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers with schemes for sole traders, specialist market traders and open market clients.
