Addept Insurance appoints Liz Althorpe as Claims Manager

Experienced claims professional, Liz Althorpe joins Addept

1 September 2026: Addept Insurance Services (Addept Insurance) the legal expenses and ancillary insurance provider, has today announced the appointment of Liz Althorpe as Claims Manager.

Liz takes on responsibility for strategic and operational oversight of the claims function across Addept Insurance’s diverse portfolio of legal expenses and ancillary insurance solutions. In addition to ensuring the delivery of a high-quality claims service focused on excellence in customer outcomes and effective management of claims costs, Liz will focus on building the scale and scope of the claims team to meet current and future needs. She will report to Kelly Jarrett, Chief Finance & Operating Officer.

Liz brings Addept Insurance close to 30 years’ experience in claims across a broad range of business lines including Legal Expenses, Motor, SME, Personal and Accident & Health. She has held senior claims management roles with Arthur J Gallagher, Miller Insurance, RBS Insurance and McLarens.

Commenting on the appointment, Kelly Jarrett, Chief Finance & Operating Officer of Addept Insurance, said:

Lauren Woods, who joined Addept Insurance in January 2026 as Head of Claims Operations, is to take on a new role as Commercial Partnerships Manager.

Commenting on the move, Kelly said; “Lauren has played a key role in establishing the claims service and has spearheaded the implementation of our new claims system which is now fully embedded in our operations. Her move to a newly formed commercial partnerships role will strengthen the support we provide to the growing number of distribution partnerships and drive further commercial opportunities.”
