The Renters’ Rights Act represents the most significant reform in the private rental sector in over a decade.

While improving the rights and protections of tenants, it will also create new exposures and risks for landlords. With the first phase of implementation starting on 1 May 2026, preparing for the changes the Act will bring in, should be a priority for landlords and the organisations that support them.

We are delighted to announce our appointment as the new rent guarantee and legal expenses insurance provider for Your Move and Reeds Rains, the UK-wide estate agent networks, and part of the LSL Group. In partnership with Irwell Insurance, we are providing access to a dedicated product solution. Our combined knowledge and expertise in designing and developing legal protection solutions for the private rental sector enables us to respond to the evolving needs of landlords in what will undoubtedly be a period of significant change.
