We are delighted to welcome Emma Harwood as Technical Lead - Officers’ Legal Protection. Addept has built a market-leading presence in the police officers legal protection sector.
In her role, Emma will be responsible for managing complex and sensitive claims, providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure claims are handled appropriately. Emma brings us 30 years’ experience in policing and a strong working knowledge of police misconduct processes, criminal law, and investigative policy.
Our Officers’ Legal Protection solution provides an enhanced legal expenses insurance for off-duty and non-duty matters for serving police officers and their families offered as a part of the benefits provided by Police Federations to their members.
We now provide specialist legal expenses solutions to over 60% of all members of the Police Federation of England & Wales via 15 branches, and we continue to secure new schemes.
